- WhatsApp Business connected in Settings → Integrations (see Settings).
- At least one approved template (Create a WhatsApp template).
- A Mobile Phone on each target employee (Employees).

Turn on WhatsApp
In the campaign’s Channels step, turn on WhatsApp. It’s greyed out until WhatsApp Business is connected.

Pick a template
Under Select template, choose an approved template. Only approved templates are listed. Click Create template to add one.

Fill in template parameters
For each
{{variable}} in the template, either type a fixed value or map it to an employee field: Display Name, Job Title, or Office Location.WhatsApp only delivers templates that Meta has approved. A newly created template can’t be used until it’s approved.
