# On-premise setup: Windows GUI

> Pick your deployment scenario and follow a single straight-through setup path for Pickcel on-premise on Windows

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Platform note**
>
> This application supports **Windows 10/11 (64-bit) only**. For Linux, use [`pickcel-cli`](/on-premise/linux-cli-setup).
>
> **Download:** **[pickcel-on-prem-setup-5.0.3.exe](https://console.pickcel.com/players/onprem-cli/pickcel-on-prem-setup-5.0.3.exe)**, the current version as of this writing.
>
> To check which channel an existing install updates from, press **Ctrl + Shift + U** — see [Keeping it up to date](/on-premise/windows-gui-setup/updates).

## Choose your setup path

Pick the card that matches what you are deploying. Each page is a complete, self-contained checklist — prerequisites, hardware, install, configuration and verification for that one path.

| Install mode | Use it when |
| :- | :- |
| **Pickcel only** | Standard CMS server. The most common choice. |
| **Pickcel + Dashboard** | CMS plus a local dashboard rendering server on the same machine, for Word/PowerPoint and Dashboard App content. |
| **Dashboard only** | A second machine that renders dashboards for a Pickcel server installed elsewhere. |

**Online** pulls images from Docker Hub and needs internet. **Offline** loads them from `.tar` files you supply.

> **[Pickcel only — Offline](/on-premise/windows-gui-setup/pickcel-only-offline)**

> **[Pickcel + Dashboard — Online](/on-premise/windows-gui-setup/pickcel-dashboard-online)**
>
> CMS plus a local dashboard server on port 3030, from Docker Hub.

> **[Pickcel + Dashboard — Offline](/on-premise/windows-gui-setup/pickcel-dashboard-offline)**
>
> CMS plus a local dashboard server on port 3030, from TAR files.

> **[Dashboard only — Online](/on-premise/windows-gui-setup/dashboard-only-online)**
>
> Just the dashboard rendering server, from Docker Hub.

> **[Dashboard only — Offline](/on-premise/windows-gui-setup/dashboard-only-offline)**
>
> Just the dashboard rendering server, from TAR files.

> [!TIP]
>
> HTTP and HTTPS are a tab choice inside each page, not a separate path.
