# How to Change the Server IP Address in Windows On-Premise Setup

> Update the server IP address on a Windows on-premise Pickcel player from the app settings screen

To set up a Windows on-premise Pickcel player, download and install the player app, then point it at your server. All you need to configure is the server IP address. Follow the steps below:

    Download and install [pickcel-digital-signage-v4.0.7.exe](https://console.pickcel.com/players/windows/pickcel-digital-signage-v4.0.7.exe) on your Windows device.

  <Step title="Open the player app menu">
    On the player screen, right-click the three-dot icon in the bottom corner and select **Settings**.

  <Step title="Open the settings gear icon">
    On the info screen that appears, click the **Settings** gear icon.

  <Step title="Enter the new server IP address and apply">
    Enter the new address in the **Server Url** field, then click **Apply**.

    <Warning>
      Use `http://` if your server does not have an SSL certificate, and `https://` if it does. Entering the wrong protocol will prevent the player from connecting.
