# How to send a screensaver campaign in Pickcel Comms?

> Play a Pickcel Comms playlist as the Windows screensaver on employee PCs when they're idle, with an optional end date that reverts to the default screensaver.

**Needs**

* Pickcel Comms Screensaver app installed on the PC ([Desktop apps](/comms/desktop-apps))
* A [playlist](/comms/playlist)

<Steps>
  <Step title="Turn on Screensaver">
    In the campaign's **Channels** step, turn on **Screensaver**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a playlist">
    * Select a playlist from the list (search by name), or click **Create playlist** to build one without leaving the wizard.
    * The **Preview** panel plays it as a slideshow.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set an end date (optional)">
    In the **Delivery** step, turn on **Screensaver End Date**. At that time, screens go back to the default screensaver.

<Tip>
  The screensaver starts after the PC has been idle for the Windows screensaver wait time (5 minutes when installed through Intune). Keep that shorter than the screen lock or sleep timeout.
