# How to send a desktop notification in Pickcel Comms?

> Send a Windows 10/11 toast notification with a title, message, and optional image to employee desktops using Pickcel Comms.

**Needs**

* Pickcel Comms Notification app running on the PC ([Desktop apps](/comms/desktop-apps))

<Steps>
  <Step title="Turn on Desktop Notification">
    In the campaign's **Channels** step, turn on **Desktop Notification**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Write the message">
    Enter a **Title** and **Message** (both required).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add an image (optional)">
    Under **Upload Media**, click **Change Media** and pick a file from your media library. Click **×** to remove it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the preview">
    The **Windows 10/11 Notification** preview shows how the toast looks, with **View** and **Dismiss** buttons.
