# How to create, send, and schedule a campaign in Pickcel Comms?

> Create a Pickcel Comms campaign in five steps (details, channels, audience, delivery, review), then send it now or schedule it, and manage drafts, schedules, and sent campaigns.

A campaign is one message sent to a set of employees on one or more channels.

## Create a campaign

Go to **Campaign** → **Create campaign**. The wizard has five steps. Use **Save Draft** at any step to finish later.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Campaign Details">
    * **Campaign Name** (required) and **Description** (optional).
    * **Campaign Type**: **Promotional** (default), **Informational**, or **Announcement**. The type is used for labeling and filtering.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Channels">
    * Turn on a channel in the left panel, then fill in its settings. A live preview shows on the right.
    * Each channel shows **Configured** or **Not Configured**. You can't continue until every channel you turned on is configured.
    * **Microsoft Teams** and **WhatsApp** stay greyed out until they're connected in **Settings** → **Integrations**.
    * Settings for each channel: [Screensaver](/comms/channels/screensaver) · [Desktop Notification](/comms/channels/notification) · [Wallpaper](/comms/channels/wallpaper) · [Ticker](/comms/channels/ticker) · [Microsoft Teams](/comms/channels/microsoft-teams) · [WhatsApp](/comms/channels/whatsapp)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Audience">
    * **Select group**: tick values under **Department**, **Job title**, and **Office location**.
      * Values in the same column are combined with OR; different columns are combined with AND.
      * Example: *Department = QA* + *Office location = Bengaluru or Pune* → QA employees in either city.
    * **Select individual employees**: search by name or email and tick people.
    * **Total employees** shows how many will receive it. Switching between group and individual clears your selection.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Delivery">
    * **Send now**: goes out as soon as you confirm.
    * **Schedule for later**: set **Send Date** and **Send Time** (must be in the future).
    * **Auto-revert to default** (only when Screensaver or Wallpaper is on): set **Screensaver End Date** and/or **Wallpaper End Date**. At that time, screens go back to the default screensaver or wallpaper set in **Settings** → **Company**. The end date must be after the send time.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review">
    * Check the details, channels, content previews (click the expand icon for full screen), audience, and delivery time.
    * Click **Send Now** or **Confirm Schedule**.
  </Step>
</Steps>
