# How do I run multi-screen presentations with the Experience Centre app?

> Set up an experience centre or showroom in Pickcel: build synchronized slides across every screen in a room and control them from a tablet.

The **Experience Centre** app lets you control all the screens in a room from one tablet. You prepare a series of slides in advance and choose what each screen shows on every slide. During a visit, the host taps **Next** on the tablet and every screen in the room moves to the next slide together.

Use it anywhere a host guides visitors through a story on several screens at once.

## How Experience Centre works

| Term | What it is |
| :- | :- |
| **Room** | One physical space and its screens, [created in your Pickcel console](/store/create-store). The menu where you create rooms is named for your account, such as **Experience Centres**. |
| **Screens** | The registered screens added to that room. In the slide editor, each screen has its own column, where you pick what that screen shows on every slide. |
| **Presentation set** | What you create in the app. One set per room is usually enough. |
| **Presentation** | A tab inside the set, such as *Welcome Tour* or *Client Showcase*. |
| **Slide** | A row in a presentation. It holds one image or video for every screen in the room. |

Two people use the app:

| Role | Where | What they do |
| :- | :- | :- |
| **Admin** | Pickcel console | Creates presentation sets, adds slides and media, assigns them to a room |
| **Operator** | Experience Centre operator app on a tablet or any browser | Picks the room, starts a presentation, moves through slides, stops it |

## Before you start

<Info>
  **Prerequisites:**

  * Rooms and the **Experience Centre** app enabled on your account. Both are enabled on request, so if you don't see them, contact [support@pickcel.com](mailto:support@pickcel.com).
  * A [room created](/store/create-store) for each space, with its registered screens [added to it](/store/add-screens).
  * Your slide images or videos [uploaded to Media](/media/add-media), one file per screen per slide.
  * A Pickcel user with the **Operator** role for each person running a room (**Settings > Users**).
  * A tablet (iPad or Android) for each room, connected to the internet or, on premise, to your Pickcel server.
</Info>

<Tip>
  Design each slide as a set of files, one per screen, sized to that screen (for example 1920 × 1080 for a landscape Full HD display). Name them by slide and screen, such as `tour-s1-screen1`, so they are easy to find in the media picker.
</Tip>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the operator app">
    * On the tablet, open `https://console.pickcel.com/suite/experience-centre/`. On an on-premise server, use your server's address followed by `/suite/experience-centre/`.
    * Sign in with the operator's Pickcel account.
    * Add the page to the tablet's home screen so operators can open it in one tap.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a room">
    * Select the room from the **Rooms** list.
    * The room shows its screens, whether they are online, and what is playing now.
    * Click **Open** on the presentation set.

  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Admins can test a set without the operator app: in the console, open the room and use **⋮ > Assign as quickplay** on the set. It plays for 10 minutes, with a **LIVE** bar for **Next**, **Previous** and **End quickplay**.
</Tip>

## Manage presentation sets

| Action | Where | What happens |
| :- | :- | :- |
| **Edit** | Room view > **Edit** | Opens the editor. Click **Update** to save. |
| **Delete** | Room view > **⋮ > Delete** | Removes the set and its presentations from the room and the operator app. Your media stays in the Media library. A running presentation stops. |
| **Change room** | Editor > **Presentation room** | Moves every presentation to the new room. Media stays on the same screen positions, screens the new room doesn't have are dropped, and extra screens start empty. |
